Judas' kiss,
sweetly lingers,
upon my lips.

I have thought about this too.

Also how strange old films seem--how it would be to find oneself in that strange world with odd mannerisms

seen those old 1960s films?

And YET often you get moments tyhat seem so now---now being what i think of as real...? One film comes to mind, Perfomance

it is all very strange:))

Hmm. No I haven't seen many old 60's films, or Performance for that matter. I've just moved it to the top of my queue though and will let you know as soon as I watch it!

Any other recommendations?

It is so typical that 'they' wouldn't have shown the film Performance, because it seems the only films commonly seen are those that are very safe and do not explore depths of reality.
When I was growing up in the 1960s we only HAD three TV channels, BBC1, ITV, and BBC2. It was BBC2 that would show films by great directors like Fellini, Pasolini, Bunuel, etc etc. If you haven't seen any of these directors films you MUST try!!

I also recommend A Clockwork Orange
